Now Accepting Winter Clothing Donations Through Jan. 31st In-Person
The Mora Public Library is now accepting new or gently used winter clothing donations through January 31st! Accepted items include coats, jackets, sweaters, scarves, jeans, boots, hats, gloves, and other cold-weather attire for every member of the family!
Help us help our community by following these guidelines for the Winter Clothing Drive:
1. Please only bring up to two bags (or boxes) per vehicle of in-season, clean, like-new, or new clothing. Socks and underwear will only be accepted in the package, new. At this time we cannot accept more than two bags or boxes.
2. We will not accept items on hangers or in bins that you may need back. We also will not accept items that are dirty, have holes, or are not wearable.
3. Donations are accepted Monday - Friday from noon - 5:30 PM. Please only donate during these times due to staff help. Please do not leave your donated items outside of our building or in our Book Drop.
We are also accepting shelf-stable and non-perishable food items for our local in-house Food Shelf.
If you are in need of any winter clothing items, please stop by our library and take what you need.
