Exploring Prehistoric Isanti County and the Old Copper Culture In-Person

Join us for a special presentation on Isanti County history with Sam Klocksien, Executive Director of the Isanti County Historical Society.
When we explore Isanti County history, we may think of things related to European immigration and familiar periods of Native American history, but what about Prehistoric history? In this session, we will learn about the Archaic Period and the Old Copper Culture! Sam will show the artifacts we have in the Isanti County Historical Society collection, as well share some of the recent archeological work being done now in our surrounding counties.
Klocksien has a great passion for the history of Isanti County. He loves sharing his knowledge and meeting new people who also have an Isanti County story to share.
This event will be held in the Great Northern Room on the lower level of the library.
Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Cambridge Public Library.
