Celebrate Braille Literacy Month: Discover Braille at the Cambridge Library

Celebrate Braille Literacy Month: Discover Braille at the Cambridge Library In-Person

Join us at the Cambridge Library as we celebrate and honor the birthday of Louis Braille through learning about braille!

Donna McNear will be here to engage us in understanding braille through hands-on guided activities. We will solve a mystery message in the braille code, invent a braille message, discover the secret to tactile braille reading, and more! Everyone will leave with a card with their name written in braille!

This is an open house style event! Explore stations at your own pace. Please come when it is convenient for you! Event will be held in the lobby and Opportunity Room.

All ages welcome!
